I told the guy at the estate sale I was thinking about strapping it to the top of my car and he said "Its your life, live it!" Lol

The blanket was to protect the kettle, not the car btw.

I missed out on a really nice one the other day, so I wanted this one bad.
Needs a couple parts, but it seems to be in decent shape

Firemunkee

I like it! Haha Did you celebrate with a spicy bite and slurpee?

The picture doesn't do it justice, but here's my new (to me) 1981 C Code 22.5 that I picked up in Chicago last week at the meetup. I'm in love! She's come home.

MBH kettles are a rare find here in Canada.  Redheads... Even more rare.
So, I was very pleased to rescue this a few days ago. Was a short drive north of me.
A-code on the lid, B-code on the bowl vents.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

My favorite redheads :)

Late 70's NIB ( first time assembled for this pic ) crazy amount of imperfections from Weber on it but that makes it more unique for me.

'73-'75

Ranger ( easily my favorite color )

26" / 22" / 18" line up

Thumbscrew 18 just finishing up and couldn't help but stop and take pics. Still need to clean the rusty straps and clean the old grates.

And a A code 18 that was a bit rough but it only cost me $20 and a black 18 I got for free. Made it a shorty with big wheels. I think I would make it an inch taller if I do it again. The big wheels gives it a tipping point if the lids on the back without charcoal and food. Gotta remember to hang the lid to the side.
