Looking for a little info on these.... what is the last year this color was produced?

There are actually two "brownie" colors.
Copper Mist
Chocolate

I think Chocolate started in 1979. Any brownie before that is Copper Mist and there is a slight difference in the two.

If I'm wrong on the cut over year, someone please correct me.

Looking for: Red MBH 26"(The Aristocrat), Chestnut-coppertone (The Estate), Glen-blue (The Imperial), and The Plainsman.

The WKC Vintage Kettle Model Numbers and Names Reference Library lists the "chocolate" color name surfacing in 1978.  The library was compiled thanks to the WKC Historian @Craig . Below is a link to the Library.  It is a sticky topic at the top of the Weber Grill Forum (Grills and Accessories).

Thanks guys.  Still looking for the last year that the chocolate color was produced.  I believe it would be 1999 or before, but don't find any documentation to support that.

As of now the last known Chocolate kettles were produced in 1993. I havent confirmed any 1995 EO code or later. I am on the search (for quite a few years now) for an early 90s Chocolate Master Touch. Or even an early 90s One Touch.

Thank you!  Best of luck finding the early 90s version.  I have a mid 80s model on the way and it appears to be an 83-86.  Has one touch sweeps and still has the twist on ash pan.

I thought my chocolate ssp was newer than 93 and had to dig out the crushed lid but it was an N code.

Here in Germany I'm always on a search for brownies and N code is the latest year I know.
I just checked my MT1 and it's also an N code.

I believe my MT1 brownie is a "P" code. 1993.
