Got my 18 WSM

Been following this forum for a couple of weeks, I found what appeared to be a bargain near my daughter's neighborhood on Facebook Marketplace. My daughter was kind enough to pick it up if it looked OK, well it didn't look OK it looked fantastic, may have been used 2 or 3 times and super clean no chips or flaws of any kind. Well the 18 WSM now resides in my back yard, and my wallet is only $125.00 lighter.

I'm doing a butt on mine tomorrow for the teachers potato bar at my daughter's school. I use my old 18 wsm more than any other cooker I have. That might change once I finally use the 22

That will serve you well. It's a very versatile cooker only limited by your imagination.  You can cook so many different ways. It's more than just a smoker.

Well I warmed the 18 up yesterday, and did a pork butt. It was FANTASTIC, my guests kept noshing on pieces after dinner. I was so concerned about my first attempt but it was a success. Just happy to have people to share with.
