anyone know? I like it's looks more than the Craycort one...though I get the removable pieces make for easier refill than the half moon.

As far as I know... any 18" Weber grate fits in a NEW type Jumbo Joe!

The old style JJ  has an odd size grate... I don't know the exact size of this grate but there are many members that can jump in and give that info.

well...what is the actual diameter of the Jumbo Joe? I have seen reference to 18" and 17.5" grates.

the Kamado Half Moon is 18" x 9"...so it 'should' fit...but mebe not.  :P

I have some Kamado Joe & Aura stainless steel half moon grates for the LBGE and they do not fit an 18" kettle.

Just thought I'd share it even if though you asked about CI.

I cook on: Backwoods Gater, Lang 36, Hunsaker Smokers, Pellet Pro 22" WSM, BGE's, WSM's, Cajun Bandits, PK Grills, Drum Smokers, Genesis Silver C, Weber Q's, Cookshack 008, Little Chief, La Caja China #2, Lodge Sportsman...oh yeah! Weber Kettles! Kamado restoration and pit modification hack!
