First cook on the Easter egg (got it from my BIL when we visited for Easter and that's what he called it). Also first on a SJ, so I played it a little safe with some Old Bay sausages.  They were damn good.  Fun little cooker.

This is My first Weber I purchased at 53 years old. I went from a donated Weber kettle at age 24 when I was first on my own. Then to a gas grill. Then an offset chargeiller that I ended up just using as a charcoal grill to a Traeger that I didn't use. Sold that about a year ago and just now for Father's day bought this. Used B&B charcoal at the recommendation of the Ace Hardware guy who helped me. Tastes soooo good.

Bday dinner to my son, this is a "right now post", finally!

Beef back ribs, individually cut so went on top shelf with a hot and fast cook. First time cooking on blue DZ code, didn't clean it after purchase so have some work to do! Using the FireDial as well.

Celebrating son's bday. I'm giving him a "pimped out kettle " (in my opinion). Will post this pics outside of the food thread.

Here it is, live as possible

Very nice, welcome back to the Weber family.  So much versatility with these kettles and you are well on your way!

Michael, that pizza looks so good... I'd break the keto diet for that!

I knew I would have a lot of lit coals after grilling so I also bought some chicken thighs. I'm glad I used the two baskets for the hot and fast. I separated them for indirect grilling in the middle. I used the Traeger Pork and Poultry run on the birds. We'll see how they are in about an hour.

Yeah there's a little bit of color change, but it's not as pronounced as the red or yellows.
