Hanging baby backs....Smoke got dirty for a second, back to clear/blue quickly.  Using my new rib hanger and Hunsaker/Vortex charcoal basket and ThermoWorks signals/billows.

I got a Spider Venom for Christmas from my wife.  I put it on my Performer and using a 2x29x2 snake with hickory, I am cooking my first brisket.   It is small, 2.5# brisket that is seasoned with salt/pepper.   I am cooking it at 250.  I expect to wrap it at 170, and then continue on until 205.  After that I will let it rest in a cooler for a few hours.

So far the Venom is working great...it was easy to set up, and seems to be holding that 250 beautifully.

Grilling lamb chops in the rain. It's my wife's birthday. Mini peppers are getting grilled after the chops are finished. Six weeks ago this would've been manna from heaven. Now we are just sick of it.
