Prime ribeye cooked on the performer 22", SnS, over Basques sugar maple lump charcoal, reverse sear.
Happiness is found under the lid of a charcoal grill.

Chicken cooked in a watermelon.

Well I never. No, seriously, I've never heard of that. How did it come out?

The rind keeps the chicken from drying out leaving fall off the bone chicken. I open after internal temp is 168 for a browning on top, because the chicken can't be lifted without falling apart. I make a recipe of a little salt, Mrs Dash and 2 packets of Italian dressing mix found in the salad dressing section. A melon that size can be found at the local honor produce stand for 2 bucks not worth the trouble to grow them myself.

I thought the watermelon was bigger than the chicken, because I like more red around the chicken. Some say they can taste sweetness idk I can't taste that. Mostly it depends if the melon is sweet. I also tenderize ribs before I put them on the grill for the burn. A watermelon hull is an organic pressure cooker.

Yeah we got about that much down here in southern Johnson/Brown County. I shoveled four times yesterday so that I wouldn't have a heart attack shoveling today
