Hi there,
I just got a weber kettle premium bronze.
There are lots of video how to start the bbq but no video on how to end it.
So when I finished to cook my steacks, there were still some charcoal lump remaining on the first small grill.
What do you do with these ones? do you reuse them or do you throw them? why did it not burn all?
Thx guys.

Fully close both top and bottom vents after cooking to suffocate the coals so you can reuse it the next time. Also ensure that the lid is snug on the bowl to minimize any oxygen from entering the kettle.

ok thanks for your replies buys.
So next time I wanna bbq, I put some new charcoal in my rapidfire + the old ones from last time?

Just lit the new charcoal and mix it with the old ones any way you want.  Newly lit coals can be on top, bottom or whatever. Just make sure to shake off the excess ash on the old ones prior to adding the freshly lit coals.

If you cook frequently you can scrape/bank spent coals to the side after they have been snuffed out. I typically reuse charcoal in the chimney starter but will bank some on the sides for larger cooks. They will light and give me longer cooks and more hot spots for cooking.  Just make sure they stay dry in the meantime or no bueno.

...yea, totally this^^^

When my briquettes go out, I just leave them in my charcoal baskets until the next cook and then dump them into the chimney starter, fill up with fresh briquettes and off I go again!
