I recently won a 2012 - 2013 ish Geneis https://www.seizethedeal.com/auctions/weber-genesis-e-310-black-lp-gas-grill at auction for $100.  Does any one know if the side tables come off?

I need to fit this in the back of a 2013 Explorer and would assume that I will need to make some field modifications to fit the grill in the back of the SUV.

I cannot find much on what tools would be needed to either remove the lid and or the side tables.  Any insight on the topic is appreciated.

You'll definitely need to take the hood off. If it's anything like the older Geni models, there should be a hinge pin/clevis and cotter pins that attach it to the firebox.

No sure how to take the side side tables off. @LightningBoldtz restores a lot of gassers... Jeff can help you Brandon out?

Side tables are held on with 2 bolts and square washers of sorts.  I believe the bolts are 7/16, but  I could be wrong.  Best to take an adjustable wrench or socket set with you.

I checked out a YouTube video this morning, looks like 2 collar pins on the hood and 2 bolts at mentioned above by @demosthenes9.

Thanks gents, exited to get this one home! I got a great deal on it at an estate sale.
