My first GA Charcoal Grill

Just scored at lunch.

Charcoal GA with CI grates
Weber full size chimney
Weber mini chimney
1 pack of Weber lighter cubes
1 Weber grate scraper
Half bag of charcoal
Wood chips




I didn’t do any research, just pulled the trigger. What would the GA and CI grates cost new?

Nice. Be careful with the air dampers on the sides. I no longer have fingerprints after my first use.

Congrats!  Im jealous especially with those grates. These cga’s NEVER show up near me. Only the gas ones.

Tell you what @HoosierKettle I'll be cooking on it this week and if I end up not liking it for whatever reason you'll get the first crack at getting it from me.  I also haven't forgot about the red lantern, just been super busy these past few weeks.  I'll get it packed up hopefully this week.

I have a trusty SJ that I've been using for three years.  Since getting a CGA with a damper plate it's a lot more versatile.

Much more room to effectively reverse sear.

I’m at work and all I have for reference is my gas GA, but there should be tabs on the lid and it props up like this..
