Hello. I just got my 22.5"  WSM. Looking forward to some fun cooks. Never had a smoker before so I will probably have a lot of questions.

Throw some logs in the bottom and you'll discover it's also a great grill for when you want direct, yet distant heat such that grease can drip right on the fire yet not burn the meat.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I can't wait to get to cooking on it. To much bi polar weather going on this weekend between wind and rain but hoping by next weekend conditions will be stable enough to get my first cook in.
