That looks killer! Great work. To get that lid to shine you just used 0000 and some soaping water or is there a polish in there too? Thanks in advance.

Awesome!  I am brown with envy!  Your pics make that kettle jump off the screen.  Are you getting that kinda quality with an iphone camera?  Man! I need to step up my game!

I usually wash the exterior lid and bowl with an SOS pad and Dawn soap.  Once dry, I remove rust and polish with a dry #0000 steel wool pad.

I use a Sony Cyber shot digital camera (model DSC-HX90V).

The brownie is just a dream!
It's one of my greatest wishes to own an 26" Brownie here in Germany.
The pics have a lot of clarity which makes the kettle glossy and popping out of the screen!
Damn I like it !
Good job

... chefs CHIEF! I still need to work on the wheels and triangle and bother Brian for a handle when he is doing better.

I've been called the Robin Hood of Weber Kettles.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

With all the Chief's that have surfaced over the last year, seemed only right they have their own appreciation thread.

I finally finished the restoration on "Misty".  This poor thing has been sitting in my garage disassembled for over a year.  For some reason, I kept jumping other kettles ahead of it to restore.  It waits no longer.

That's a fine looking kettle!
