The frame is one piece and the cross bar attaches. This frame was much heavier than the frame you see in the first picture I posted.



The bowl had three "tabs" you will see one bottom right in the pic. The tabs would fit into holes in the frame to secure the grill.

Very interesting and thank you @harris92!  My guess was going to be in the bowl tabs as that was a difference I noticed after reaching out to other owners when I was restoring mine.  Mine has the tabs that fit into the frame but my frame comes apart where the cross support bar bolts on.  The "handles" insert into the "legs."  Do you have any idea which version is older and/or a year for the tabbed bowl version?
