Grilled a roast
« on: March 10, 2018, 05:51:51 AM »
I’ve been reading about some of you guys grilling a roast like a steak,so last night I decided to try it. I marinated it and then sprinkled with Montreal steak seasoning and grilled to internal temp of 130. It turned out really good, plus it was only  2.99 a pound. I will definitely do this again!
By the way this weighed about a pound and a half and served 3 people.

Mmm mmm looks delicious!! I need to try that. Did you grill over direct heat the entire time?

I used the reverse sear method. I cooked it indirect to about 120 internal and then seared to around 130/135.

Looks good! What cut did you use?
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

I think it was a sirloin tip roast, but I’m not sure. It just looked good and with ribeye at$12.99 a lbs.and this roast at $2.99 a lbs. I thought it was a good time to try it.
