If you do buy a Ranch, I wouldn't buy an old vintage model. The vintage models look cool, but I wouldn't want to be bent over cooking 3ft. off the ground. They have no lid bale so you have to pick the lid up with two hands and set it down on the ground. They only have two wheels instead of four so you're having to be bent over towing it around the patio everytime you move it and the access opening on the flip up cook grate is small and cramped. The modern Ranch solves all these problems thankfully.
