But ya'll should use caution when thinking of these sorts of raised grates as being "warming" racks. They cook food, and at a faster rate than what's below (if comparing regular indirect).
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Now that I think of it, you're right. Temp in my 22.5" is actually hotter closer to the top. Forgot about that. Still like the dog parking lot idea.
