I'm quite sure these will kill any chance of nice bark development. Not to mention how they will negatively affect airflow through the cooker. Buyer beware.

Well, who am I to crush one's dream... butt it seems a worthless product. I'm sure they'll make them, they'll sell them, they'll prolly have a few followers... just not me. Old guy with old fashioned habits... took me awhile to get the SV gig worthy of my time. :)

Respectfully, there are many members here that have a lot of experience with grilling, smoking...
If there is a question regarding the effectiveness of this product, it may be worthwhile to listen to these people.
