My 2018 kettle goals are to finish up few other really cool one of a kind projects i have in mind and also to limit kettles I take in.
Looking forward to seeing your projects.

Best of luck with the limitation. You don't need me to tell you it's difficult

My goals are to make improvements to my kettle area. Put a roof over an area and create storage for better work flow when cooking. I would also like to do the metal table and lid bale upgrade to the performer. In fact I might cut back to a performer, a ots, an 18 for travel, and my 26. That's really all that I need.

Keep me in mind for that blue if you decide to cut back.

My goals this year is to try as many new things to cook as possible.
My wish list this year is a blue, green, and chestnut.

Coming off a banner 2017 by meeting up with this forum, here are mine:

Finishing off converting my 22 WSM with CB Options and a Pellet Pro Unit (pics to follow).  Using my grills more often.  Doing more unusual dishes on the kettles, specially with cast iron griddles, dutch oven.  Remember, since I classify myself as more of a cooker than collector - going on more adventures cooking stuff at other venues (very few guys use Webers on KCBS style competitions).

Maybe visit other WKC states' meat & greets?

I would really like to find a blue and green MBH in 2018.

Pellet grills are fun to use and they are rewarding.  I have several pellet grills, along with Webers and non Webers. I use them all, depending on how much time I have and what I'm cooking.

In 2018 I want to thin the heard a little. I just am not sure what I want to let go of yet.
I want to spend a lot more time cooking on my 18" kettles and Smokey Joes because I am rarely cooking for the whole family anymore.
I also want to use my smokers (14" WSM, 18" WSM, and a 22" CB conversion) more often.
If I buy a new gadget, I think it will be a SnS.
A bunch of black kettles

Yes, I set my 2018 goal to high. Very difficult! I am probably the first to ship a kettle across the county and over the boarder this year. Got a confirmation from Jules V. that he will ship Happy Cooker he just scored to me on Jan 1/18 and he ships Jan 2/18.  Thanks Jules!

How cool or sad is that for trying to keep my 2018 goals.

If you have a WSM you do not need a pit barrel, just get a rack.

I am continuing to research and I am really liking the Michigan company Grilla Grills.  The Grilla branded pellet grill is pretty sweet and kinda what I am looking for with regards to space where I cook.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

My "grail list" not withstanding, my 2018 Kettle Goals are: in no particular order...

1. Yellow 18.5 (Any year BUT if it's a 1978 it would fulfill #4 in one shot)

2. Mothership

3. Seville.

4. Birth year (1978) yellow or lime green 22. This one is a long shot but I am looking for a birth year in one of these two colors.

5. Brown OT+ or Master Touch.

Edit: I was in a hurry when I typed this the other night.

HOLY GRAILS: 1950s era Black or Custom finish 18.5 or 22.5 Kettle, Brown Go Anywhere grill.

Rub

I'd love to get into some colored MLH kettles...the Estate, the Statesman, the Easterner, the Ambassador. A '62 Fleetwood (26) would be sweet. And of course any of the ultra rares :)
In the market for unicorns to complete my collection: Ambassador, Plainsman, Meat Cut, Custom, Blue 18 MBH, Green 18 MBH

I really want a flat top; any color will do.
I'm gonna make my Secret Santa Jumbo Joe into a smoker.

The wife wants a plum (grill type doesn't matter; I'm thinking genesis)

She also desires a ranch. I'd prefer a mother ship.

Not really sure. I have all that I need, actually more then I need.
I am either going to clean up my red mist ssp, sell or trade it, or possibly mount my WSM onto it and get the gas assist to light the WSM.
Maybe clean up a few Craigslist finds and donate to friends.
Use my SNS and rotisserie more often.
