Quick rotisserie question
« on: December 27, 2017, 12:00:02 PM »
I'm about to make my first rotisserie cook.  I got x2 chickens about 5# each. Using 2 baskets,  about how long of a cook should I expect? Side note.... it's zero degrees outside...

Thanks in advance.

2 full baskets should take an 1:30 - 1:45 in normal weather.  You should be good.

Keep it rocking. This cold weather will zap your roti heat.

I added some more lit charcoal to the baskets about half an hour ago. I think I'm gonna check temps in about 15 min. That will put me at the 2 hour mark.

What charcoal?  Stir it when you check it to keep airflow

These little fellas were crazy juicy.
The left overs is gonna make some great cream of chicken soup!
