Kids in the Kitchen... Teach Them!!!!!

Our grand daughter Emily just turned nine years old... how thyme flies. For her birthday, we bought our li'l sous chef a set of her own cookware, which came with some recipes. Chicken nuggets were on the menu...



Her mess in place... BTW, she cut up the chicken!!





Note the flour on her face...

Damn proud of this li'l gem!

BTW, she has her own SJ Coppertop and knows how to use it...  8)

Oh... She already knows her way around the Vortex on Pop-Pop's Coppertop!

That’s awesome!  She has a good teacher and sounds like she already knows how to cook more than a lot of adults I know. She will have a huge head start compared to most kids. My 21 year old barely uses a microwave let alone cook something.

G-kids are the best. Tough to schedule her to a dedicated event at this point, butt you and your lovely bride are welcome to come out east for a visit... we'll surely hook you up for a feast!  8)
