Originally purchased this boneless ribeye roast with intentions of cutting into steaks and grilling them. I decided instead to smoke it whole on the grill. Did a quick low and slow set up and had fun with it.

Turned out a nice medium/medium rare.

Made for a nice a plate with homemade mashed potatoes and green beans.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I love a prime rib roast. I usually do one every New years eve as a ritual to bring in the year
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I  know a lot of people who do a roast like that for New Years and everyone claims they know nothing about it being a tradition other than within their own family!
Its amazing how quickly one weber kettle turns into more than a dozen!  Always open to grabbing something interesting so let me know what you've got!

Looks awesome! What's that container looking thing beneath the meat?
