Looking for some pork belly advise!
« on: November 30, 2017, 11:32:23 AM »
Ok boys and girls, I found this at my local store last night and am planning on cooking it this weekend. I’m thinking thoroughly wash, set on wire rack in fridge for a little bit then score skin and put on the spit.

Any thoughts or other ideas? Totally open for suggestions here.

You can do it like I did earlier this week.. cut it like a giant sausage about 1/2 thick, you should be able to even unroll it and it looks like bacon. Then add your fav. rub and let it sit for an hour or two to soak it up. I think it works better this way to get the best Pork Candy out of it.
Then just chuck it on the grill for a little bit of indirect time and then some sear time but watch out for flare up.
Nom Nom bacon time but He Man thick.
