Just picked up a factory sealed Gas Go Anywhere for $25.  Anyone know how to determine the date?  There does not appear to be a top vent.

I have the same one ....a 1530 (NOS).....got it for $15.  I think they changed the model # to 1530 in 2000.  But they also changed to plastic handles.  So if you have a wood handles 1530, my guess is your GGA is early 2000.  If it is plastic handles, late 2000 or newer.

The user manual publish dates are a good reference.

My user manual was 1997.  The box said 1530...which was year 2000 or later.  Handles are wood, which was pre-2000.

The manual is form# 10700 with a copyright date of 1988.  And the warranty card 30403 11/91.

Great find, congrats.

There seem to be a number of pre-2000 GGAs with the Model #1530.  I'm working on revising the GA writeup to reflect that. It seems like the model number was both before and after the transition to plastic handles.
Wanted: Burgundy 18"
