Weber "Roasted garlic and herb"
« on: November 05, 2017, 04:43:59 PM »
So I have really been into Weber's roasted garlic and herb seasoning lately. So this morning I decided to make a marinate with it. 1/4 cup of evoo,  1/4 cup of water, 1/4 cup of seasoning, 2 TB of lime juice, ( could use Apple cider vinegar but I was out). 2 chicken breasts, and a little cherry smoke, and I must say it turned out pretty damned good.

Many times I've taken Weber's or some other rub/seasoning and used it in a marinade just like that. A no-brainer.

So how long did you marinate? I never really do mine long enough to be completely effective, I don't think. I get lazy, procrastinate, and the bird pieces will only see the marinade for about an hour if I'm lucky.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I was about a 8 hour soak. I will usually try to do it the night before.
