Simple chicken thighs

Marinated in Italian dressing, seared for color then moved indirect for about 40 minutes at 400ish.








And, all done on the "first cook for me", Imperial.










She showed up today. Marinated the chicken thighs, fired up a chimney, took her out of the box and threw her together to cook. Didn't bother with wheel lugs or anything. I'll clean her later! So beautiful...

Damn Travis, that grill is SWEET! Congrats on the growing collection and 9 out of 10 times I'll buy thighs and cook just like you did only without the initial sear.

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I've never marinated chicken in Italian dressing before, though I know it's common. How does it affect the flavor of the thighs?
