Smoked a 13 lb brisket today on a WSM22. Rubbed with Black Ops and peach and pecan for smoke. 11 hour smoke at 240-250. Saving half for brisket chili next weekend

Thanks fellas. Happy with how it turned out. First time using the black ops Rub . Best tasting bark I've had on a brisket. Really great rub

Great job as usual @wessonjb! I'm doing a packer tomorrow on my 18WSM. I normally wrap in paper through the stall...going to try this one naked all the way.

Looks like that black ops rub has a good mix of some sugar and paprika?

Thanks man. Has all kinds of good stuff in it. Nice balance and a hint of a little heat on the back end. I wrapped in foil for couple hours till it hit 195. Unwrapped and put back on to snap the bark back. Dropped 2 degrees and then slowly climbed to 198 and I pulled. Good luck on your smoke tomorrow

Is that nutrition label correct?

How can the rub contain sugar but be at 0 grams?

Lol not sure but doesn't look right. Raw cane sugar should have some in it

Cause at a 1/4 tsp serving, the amount of sugar is minuscule. It won't register .5 grams.
