Finally found tomahawks!

I have been wanting to try these for years but I couldn't find anyone locally who could cut them so I ended up getting them through Sam's Club. It was probably a two year wait but it was worth it and I can't wait to have them again. Used the SnS on my 26" set at 300° and ran the beef up to 80° before unleashing the full power of searing with the SnS!
You all know the drill so I'll just post the pics.


It was a terrific hands on feast!

Oh yeah!!  The bites along the bone are the best. Sams is the only place I find them.

Awesome!  I hadn't realized these weren't available everywhere!  They've been offered at a few steakhouses near me in NY for at least a few years now; and I've been seeing them in stores almost as long.  Its an awesome experience for sure....but I cant justify the price often!
