Got a performer cheap, sold the kettle to break even.

Built a basic square tubing frame inside the performer frame  and the wsm legs lined up perfectly.

Used a pin through each leg and it is very stable.

Elegantly simple.  Nicely done.

My favorite table that I've seen so far. I'm not a fan of having the wsm up high like some I've seen. This gets the job done with total no table functionality with the added convenience of a table and a cart. Nicely done.

Thanks

Staying as low as possible was my goal.  Kept the tubing as low as I could without interfering with the axle or caster wheel pins that go up into the frame.   I plan to also add back the wire shelf to set grates on, etc.  It will likely be zip tied to the frame.  It didn't come with a charcoal bucket, but I could add that back if I wanted to.

This is awesome. I have been thinking to do the same or similar.

Pimping my own thread here to a degree but if you take a look at the DIY temp controller that I just posted in this forum, I think that would fit nicely in the spot above the tool hanger. If you can cut a 70.5mm x 28.5mm rectangle into the front panel, then you can easily mount the WILLHI 7016 in there.
