Mid 90s genesis question
« on: September 20, 2017, 07:34:55 PM »
Just a quick question...I am picking up a mid 90s Genesis tomorrow...can it fit in a Hyundai Tucson?  Also is it easy to take off the lid?  If so what tools would I need to do it?  Thanks!

The lid comes right off by pulling 2 pins. All you'll need is a pair of needle nose pliers. Comparing to my wife's crv it looks like it should fit as long as the seats fold down.

You can also save a few inches by removing the casters and plastic wheels.

I have used my wagon to transport 2 genisis and 2 performers. Taking the wheels off is a must. Kinda tricky but helps so much

You did not get enough after last weekend's acquisition? I understand, it's a disease!

Ha...the deal fell through!  I'm kind of relieved.  I don't need to get into gassers.  It was going to be something I would flip.

I was heavily leaning towards two gassers I saw this week. (Until something else came to my attention.) I totally get it. Seems like you want one, but glad when you don't get it!

Just take the lid off and it should fit. I've put a 1000 in my Prius. It fit comfortable.
