1st attempt at Slow n low on the Jumbo Joe
« on: September 09, 2017, 11:33:39 AM »
Wife and kids went to a fest for the day and left me at home to paint the shed. I finished painting the main part of the shed white. Then I ran out to get black for the trim and some beer. Then I tried to figure out what I wanted for dinner. Swung by my local grocery store and took a stroll through the meat aisle. I saw really nice slab of baby backs and decided that would be dinner. I hate to fire up a 22 for just one slab of ribs and the Jumbo Joe never gets enough love so I decided I would try ribs in that for the first time.

Now off to painting.

Shed is finished.

Weber charcoal 2x1 snake with hickory ran well. 225-250 for 5 hrs with snake to spare. No mopping, no wrapping

Ribs are finished.
