Your opinions would be very welcomed. I am becoming a Weber enthusiast, but I do not have the chops to know what is better yet. ( I know this is for kettles, but I have one 2016 Kettle and a 2004 OTP that I recently bought and am using/restoring.

I am looking at 3 different grills on craigslist. I am trying to get each one for $125 or less. Which would you prefer and why? Thank you for any advice in advance!

The first one has this description (Asking $180):

REMOVED THIS GRILL -NO LONGER AVAILABLE

The second one has this description (asking $150):

Weber Genesis Silver B three burner propane grill with brand new stainless steel burners, porcelain flavorizer bars, porcelain cooking grates and igniter were all replaced last season. The grill has been cleaned out and everything works like it should. Also comes with the propane tank. Replacement parts are readily available if you should need any.

The third one has this description (asking $150):

Weber Silver Grill in good condition. Just cleaned it and it' ready to use. All the components are in good condition. The grates are good, Flavorizer bars are good, ignitor is good, burner tubes are good.

The fourth has this description (asking $100):

Weber Genesis Gold. This is the 3 burner model. Has two extension tables. It comes with cover.
Grill has no rust, although it could use a good cleaning.
No propane tank included, but we can use one of my tanks to test out the grill.

The first one.
1 it's red
2 it's a Genesis 1000 (double flavorizer bars)
3 SS grates and flavorizers
4 did I mention it's red?
ISO Brown Go Anywhere

Just what @Kneab said ! no sense in me writing the same thing
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I just found out the red one is no longer available. Of the others, what should I buy?

Aside from the one no longer available the others are all basically the same.

The stainless one is a bit double edged. 25 year warranty on that hood but they are prone to rusting the inner layer and seperating from each other. If you can register it then good you can get a replacement however the SS is no longer available so you'll likely get Black if anything

I would sit tight and wait for an older 13 flavor bar grill. Those gold/silvers are nice but you can likely get into a 13 bar for next to nothing then spend on quality flavor bars and grates that will last forever

Thank you for all the advice! Why does the Genesis 1000 have 13 bars, and why is that better? Do other Weber models besides the 1000 have 13 bars?

Thanks in advance, I am learning so much!

@nebrando , Local MN, many of the grills shown are old ads. The older Gens with 13 bars have more even heat, IMO and many others. Check this thread out, he is also local MN and may have a spare Gen to sell.
