New Q owner here. Picked up new q220 John deere ed. and q1200 lime.
Might pick up 1 or 2 or all 3 mentioned colored q1200

Only seen these 3 colors in pics so no idea of preference or why even looking to get more of these.  I could get them at great price...so that maybe one of the reason.

No pics yet of my greens.

tks.

Just do it, for no particular reason,

;D ;D ;D I like how you think.  The seller declined to go for 3 deal $ I asked for, so I am going for 2. at a still great price. Most likely I should have new in box orange and blue q by next week.

My wife doesn't like the way I think but she puts up with me nonetheless

Yourself and mcgolden have one I believe. I remeber this thread from early this year and the comment I left from this thread http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-gas-grills-electric-cookers/new-green-machine/msg275999/#msg275999.   :) :)

I've been eyeing all the cool new colors on the Q1200s but really wanted the size of the Q2200. I think Ace did a red lid Q2200 a few years back, but I couldn't find one anywhere. Luck would have it that I was able to snag the green John Deere edition.  I liked the fact that it was all green (top and bottom), but was not a fan of the cheesy looking John Deere handle. One quick swap out and I now have my colored Q.

I like this Q.  Sort of the special edition of the Q world. I like how it is all same color. Like the yellow John Deere logoed handle too. Trying to see where I can get this one in Canada.

Grab the red one with the canadian flag on top!!

Actually the seller offered me the red with big white maple leaf on top.  For me,  I would rather prefer solid red over it if I had to get red. Anyways, I am not getting Red.

The wife asked me to get her one.  I dig the blue and there's one that's been listed but can't get the seller to respond.  Is there a big difference between the 120 and 220?

Here is the pic of 120 grate inside the 220.  q1200 and q2200 are the same size as shown but with split cooking grates.

Big difference I would say. Almost like comparing 18" to 22" or 22" to 26"er kettles.

Thanks for that. The difference is significant.  Appreciate you taking the time
