Green1:

Before pic.  Started out as a black gen 3 performer with no timer front panel.

After: I did not turn it into Gen2 as I figured it needed more special non gen2 offering kettle to take place in gen2 frame.  Besides, I like this dark green as gen3. It did get the 304 SS commercial grade custom table upgrade.

Green2:  Originally gen2 C&B lime performer turned into custom table fabricated from Gas Genesis SS side tables. I have a build thread on this here.  http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/off-topic/my-personal-diary-gen2-performer-ss-table-project-concept-first-and-on/

Before pic.

To me, the charcoal Summit inspired table with lime goes really well. I am very proud of this creation but I have decided to turn it into one and only  true 4 gen performer.

After pic.  4 Gen. C&B Lime.

The purpose of this thread is of course is  to share but mainly for me to motivate myself and get this done.
Lately, I am getting way to busy for my liking and getting hard to finish projects I have in mind.

Thanks for looking.

All those look amazing. It almost makes me want to make a plum gen 2 or gen 4.

Totally understand life being busy.
Still love that table mod/upgrade you did with that gen 2. Looking forward to seeing your work, @greenweb

Very nice, @greenweb, you should be proud of that custom performer!

Slow and steady wins the race.  Now that mod month is no more, I've lost a fair amount of motivation myself.  But as the weather cools down, I hope to get back on the projects I started waaaaay back.

That would be awesome!   Just like the Red, Plum color was only offered in gen1 SSP.  So, the plum in gen2 or 4 frame would kick ass. I have seen  other members ssp red in gen2 which look great too.  My red SSP stays as gen1 for me.

All the red hue color kettles such as gen1 Plum, gen 3 Brick Red, or gen 3 and 4 Crimson would all look great in gen2 frame.

Change of plan for my gen2.  I have decided to go with a non gen 2 color and my dark green which was offered in gen 2 and 3 will stay gen3.

Thanks Guys! I will get something to show for this weekend.

Once I get the Gen2 project done.... I should have all gens( 1,2,3, and 4) represented. I also need to take my Green family pics sometime soon.

Anyway, thanks for looking.

Wow! Such subtle  mods/tweaks and yet so elegant and tasteful.  Too bad they don't come off the shelf just like that because I'll buy buy it in a heartbeat and keep it as is. Congrats! By the way, did you fabricate the handle youself?

Thanks! and yes I did the handle reshaping on my own. I have a thread on here. http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/sharing-innovative-kettle-mod-ideas/msg272548/#msg272548

Btw, love all your custom performers.
