I'm getting pumped for the cookout. I can't wait to eat a bunch of great food and chat grills.

It looks like the weather is going to be a perfect 85 with no rain. Since we will be grilling out right on the lake we will probably get a nice breeze.

I'm going to get to the park early and stake out our area with the WKC flag. Once you get into the park, go forward to the beach area. Our site will be on the right hand side of the parking lot.

I'm going to be bringing a bunch of supplies for the group. I will bring a big cooler with a bunch of beverages including beer, soda and water. I will also bring a bunch of paper towels, plates and silverware.

Since October is coming up quick, I'm going to be celebrating Octoberfest at the grill out. I will be cooking up a bunch of brats and kraut in the German/ Wisconsin tradition.

In terms of trades - I have a nice Gen 3 C&B, a red MBH and a cool custom grill grate. Let me know if you want me to bring any of these to the cookout.

This sucks but I'm going to have to bail on this weekend,
the clutch on my truck failed this evening and I need to
R&R it before Monday.

Change of plan for me. Won't be making pizza. Grilling up some chicken thighs and bring some mac salad. If I can't get to my storage to grab a grill, I'll probably just bring my performer.

Nate, I'm doing chicken thighs as well. If you aren't able to grab something to cook on, there will be a grill for you at the lake. :)

Yup - great day. I cooked up a bunch of sausages in beer and kraut. The sausage is called Nürnberger Rostbratwurst. They are like little brats that you eat with your fingers.

Saturday before the picnic. Spent the night at my son’s apartment in downtown Sacramento. Walking distance to The Capitol.
Saturday night. I needed some exercise.
