Can't wait to try this out on some ribs tomorrow . I have not used Weber charcoal before. Pretty excited to see how it compares to good ol Kingsford!

I like the large size and the low ash of the weber coal vs kbb. It's great stuff and really seems to stretch farther pound for pound.

Cannot believe you use briquettes and not real charcoal. Why bother using a fire?

There's nothing wrong with briquettes. I go back and forth between lump and briquettes. For low and slow I always use briquettes they are more consistent and easier to regulate the heat.

Not sure what that's all about...??? Been using RO briqs and lump for years. What do you use sir? Please elaborate... what to you is REAL charcoal?
