I've been q'ing a lot of thighs vortex-style lately. Thought I'd try my hand at the breaded variety today.
Red MT going with a combo of KBB, RO lump, and a nice stick of applewood.
1st flip... lookin' good...
Stanley Frank Musial aka Stan the Dog approves.

Thighs off. Crispy goodness!
Next up...
Vortex out, firebricks in. 1/2 chicken seasoned with Penzey's BBQ 3000 rub and a pork tenderloin seasoned with Weber coffee rub.

I love how Stanley is just sitting there like, "Are those thighs ready yet?" Love that MT, bud. Enjoy the fine day! Got the game on?

Thighs look great! I do them all the time, but never bread 'em. This is something I'll need to look into. Great name for a dog too--and this is coming from a Cubs fan. Respect for Stan the Man!
