Can you kind people with a Sequoia measure and post your dimensions here? It would be cool to create plans for this. I'd like a few measurements to account for potential variations.

Thanks!

Perfect timing. I'm currently in the process of restoring my Sequoia. Every part has been disassembled and I'm sanding down to clean wood. I'll post back with dimensions and pics next week when I'm back from the cabin (where I'm doing the restore).

Would appreciate some feedback from you folks. I want to leave it in the natural, unpainted state..just like in Gummi's diagram. What sort of protective finish is recommended? Maybe a clear varnish of some sort?

@Troy @Hogsy it's still not too late to be the first to reply with dimensions!

Thanks @ Hogsy. Let's get a few sets of measurements so we can compare.

This is from Dale:

Here are the dimensions you requested a while back on the forums:
A:            42"
B:            28"
C:           tbd
D:            13" [Note- less table top thickness]
E:            6"
F:            2 ½" – All frame pieces are 1" x 2 ½"
G1:         2 ½"
G2:         1"
H1:         3 ½" – All shelf/door pieces are ½" x 3 ½"
H2:         ¾"
I:             22 ¾"
J:             4 ½"; 14 ¾"
K:            1"
L:             8"
M:            TBD

Other Notes:
Holes in end panels for axel (on bottom end) and bolt (on top end) are located 1 ¼" from end (Hmm, I see I didn't notate the location for the middle set of holes)

Holes in top rail (handle ends) for bolts securing end panels to table top are located 8" from end

There are notches 3/16" deep in the end panel uprights to receive the bottom, middle, and top shelf rails – the ends of which are secured by bolts/axels

The top rail is 53 ¾" from tip of handle to tip of handle. This might have actually been 54" originally, but shorter on mine now due to sanding?

The middle and bottom rails are 40 ¼" long

The slats on the middle (x4) and bottom shelves (x8) are 26 ¼" long

The end slats on the middle and bottom shelves are 2 ¾" from the end of the rails

The slats on the end panels are of two different sizes – 3 ½" x 28" (x4), and 2 ½" x 24" (x1). One of the longer ones is located across the bottom. The remaining four slats (three long ones and the short one) are located at the top. These four slats are secured to each other with two parallel pieces of wood (sorry, no dimension on those) stapled to their back side. The short slat is in the upper most location. While the four longer slats are nailed to the uprights, the shorter one is not. It is centered atop three longer ones and held in place by the two pieces of wood that are stapled to their backside. Because it is shorter than the other slats, a gap is left at both ends into which the rails of the top shelf sit.

The doors are comprised of five slats (3 ½" x 14 ¼") secured to each other by two parallel pieces of wood (¾" x 1 ¾" x 16 7/8") stapled to their back side. I see that I don't have a measurement as to their placement on the back side, but I would guess they are about 1 ½" from top edge and bottom edge (i.e. enough room to assure they clear the shelf rails when the door is closed).

This will be much clearer after viewing the photos here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm7zEbC6
