Darko, you need to stop cooking in your front yard, someone is going to steal your fucking kettle.

Those potatoes look seriously good, like they would go just right with the roast. Nice job.

Bigmac

You're tougher than I am,I don't think I left the house yesterday.  Although I would have probably got out for a meal like that. Very nice cook!  👍

jd

@darko I'm doing a rib roast tomorrow and I'd like to do potatoes like yours here. If you don't mind...how did you do those?

They were boiled until almost done. Cooled quickly with cold water, then peeled and cut up. After that pan fried in some olive oil. Lightly seasoned after frying.

Travis

Damn, that looks delicious!

No worries @Jon . It goes into the garage when the cook is done.

Darko

I must say, the leftovers made a great prime rib hash for breakfast this morning. Diced up the remaining potatoes and roast, heated through and served with a fried egg. Yum!

Lightning

Oh wow that looks good. The prime rib has sounds like it must've been good too.

This cold snap we've been under has been brutal. New Years wasn't so bad where I am. As cold as it was, there was no wind and it wasn't bad being outside and cooking. I made a rotisserie chicken two days ago and the wind started whipping up some nasty blowing snow that was all icy. I sure felt the cold then and felt like I was being sandblasted by ice powder. The coals barely lasted long enough for the chicken to finish cooking.
