Stick around a bit. You will find that there isn't very much that you cannot cook on a simple kettle.
I tell my family every night I grill,  "Thanks for being a part of the experiment."
Some nights are better than others, but we are always learning. I am my biggest critic. The family 99% of the time gives a thumbs up.

Looks good @clarissa , no need for a vortex or a slow and sear,,,,,, the Weber kettle works great with no spendy gadgets, the reason it has been around for so long.
