They always look better in the photo, then after the hour + drive home and you flip it over to start cleaning it ... that's when the truth shows it's ugly face.
Some days your the windshield and some days your the bug!

Are the ash sweeps functional? As bad as it is, it looks like it's got some usable years ahead of it. The bottom vent slots still look true.

Pointy things look good and so is the pan set.
It's on the list for "clean and sell" but I'm not sure if I should leave it as is or convert back to a normal OT and dump it for $25-30 ?
Standing next to it , it does not look that bad.
I know what you mean by usable years... but I need to deal with cheap ass buyers here that want NOS for $25.
I personally think it's a nice grill.

My 18" weathered warrior looked pretty good in the pics. All the bottom vents are bolted back in place. Just bought a 22" weathered warrior, and is WAY out of round. The 18" was $15, and the 22" was $17. I'm not complaining.

#TheDude, how can you get a bowl or lid back into shape? I've got a WW that needs that kind of help...

I had a 22.5" that was more than 1.5 cm out of round and with a measure tape and CAREFUL bear hugs I got the kettle and lid back in shape enough to go back together easy. It can be done, you just have to be careful and listen when the enamel starts talking to you.
As far as dents go.. leave them alone because you will only make it worse.

It'll still cook well. My blue OTG isn't much better.
