I really like the table that came with my wife's blue kettle. Thought I would capture the details here if anyone wants to build one like it. This one is made from cedar. Lightweight and nice looking. All the boards are 5/8" X 3 1/2". It was raw when I got it, and I did a light sanding and put a coat of penetrating oil on it. Really perked it up.

That's a 2.5 degree angle to the legs:

Here's what I used to finish it. I really like this stuff!

Very nice, that oil really makes that table POP
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Such a nice looking table. If you put wing nuts on the carriage bolts on the short side of the table (to make them removable) would the legs fold under to make it portable?

Hmmm. Seeing this makes me think I don't need a performer at all!

It could certainly be engineered that way with little effort. If I make another I might try to do just that.

I like that that is very cool I definitely may have to build one of those it doesn't look like it would be to bad to throw together I would have to make two sets of legs depending on if I used it with the master touch or standard kettle to adjust for the hight difference

I really like that table. I'm sure I'd lose a finger or two trying to make one though.

This looks great thanks for all the info!  Gonna tackle it this week.
2 questions-
What type of wood did you use and why did you add a 2.5 degree angle on the legs?

Thanks!
