3D model for Weber Kettle
« on: June 14, 2017, 05:05:19 AM »
Hey Guys,

I have visions of creating an SSP based around the 26" kettle.  I have access to some pretty talented mechanical designers to help with the construction.  With that in mind I am looking for a 3D model of the 26" kettle and ash bucket, preferably in a .stp file.  Seems overkill, but that's where I think the fun comes in.

The guys could create one but would rather have their time used elsewhere if already exists.

Thank you.

I do not have one but I could try to make one. The bowl and lid would be straight forward. I bet something already exists. @pbe gummi bear any chance you have one?

I don't personally have a model of the 26r. If you are just looking for a model of the kettle for dimensional purposes, you could easily just take a side profile pic of the kettle and create a revolved body along the perimeter. It would only take a minute or two.
