Gray crooked K OTP score

In my usual search I saw an ad post on CL that was 3 hours old. Looked like a gray OTP so I knew I had to be fast. Contacted the seller and offered the asking price and asked them to hold it. Response was if someone else offers they will have to sell it. I reply back and ask if they will hold it for 1 week for $10 more and remove the ad. They did and today was the day I brought her home. The catch, I told the wife I'd flip this one as she doesn't like when I want to buy grills. Not because she is against the hobby but we don't always have the disposable income with the kids and stuff. I'm going to clean this old girl up and see if she grows on me. If so then I'll ask for it to be my Father's Day gift from her. If not I'll let the WKC know. She is clean already but she will shine by this weekend.  I asked the seller about the grill and their response was it came with the house and we already had a grill.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Travis

Bro, that is an absolute beautiful grill. DO NOT LET THAT GO!!!

Great score! Maybe the grease on the thumbscrew has kept it unfrozen.

Vent pic please!

That is awesome! Usually these grey kettles are either M or N code. First example I've seen of a K code. That's K for "keeper" in this case! Congratulations!

Ken Mc

That was my first thought when I saw the CL add Craig. I'm not the most educated grillfella but I thought this was a pretty rare score when I found it which is why I acted as fast as I could.
