Anyone know this grate?

So, one of my neighbours bought a Weber Q, and gave me his old Performer.
Since I was looking to get a new cooker anyway (old one is a Bar-B-Kettle, which i also got for free), I jumped at the opportunity.
Spent last night cleaning it, and it seems to be in good condition.
There was a pretty rusty grate of the plated/chromed kind on there, but then, laying on the wires at the bottom of the cooker was a strange grate with a square cast iron insert.
I have dabbled in restoring cast iron pans, and also have a cast iron grate for my old Weber, so i tried brushing off all the rust and baking it in the cooker with some rapeseed oil, and it looks much better now (may need more seasoning).

My question is: anyone know who made/makes these, as I have never seen this kind of grate before?

Before (on top of my Weber Q) and after pic attached.

Best Regards. Kenneth.

It is a legit OEM Weber grate.  I found a new one recently too.

The CI griddle from a Genesis B/C fits in there quite nicely, as well.

***Grate with the griddle is Weber #1425. Haven't been able to locate the part # for the grate with the CI grate insert.

Thanks. I think I will do some more work on it, then. Maybe use it for searing etc.
Was definitely easy to get decently clean, and if the rest of the grate disintegrates, I can reuse the castiron part.
