I started by seasoning 2 Flank steaks and then placed them into a freezer bag to marinate for 6-8 hrs.:

I then prepared my grill for direct medium to high heat. I grilled each Steak for 13-15 min while saving the excess marinade for later:

During the last 4 min of the cook I began preheating my cast iron for sauté. While the steaks were resting in foil:

I sautéed onion and bell pepper then added the excess marinade and brought to a boil to cook off any bacteria:

While keeping the marinade at a simmer I thinly sliced each Steak:

After each Steak was sliced I poured the marinade back over the steaks keeping them nice and juicy:

A beautiful mess:

The dinner was great. The Steak was nice tender and juicy. The thing I like about Flank Steak is that it's well done on the ends and medium to medium rare in the middle

Thanks, it's a family favorite. I'm going for that fatty/bacon bomb next.
