SSP Frame Connector Joints

I've done this on the last couple of SSPs I've assembled.  I think that it protects the finish of both the Frame Connector and where the Frame Connector "Tees" into the end Frame Assembly.  No metel to metal contact.  Should still drain.  Hopefully, less water will get in.  Another thing to do is to turn the Frame Assembly around so that the formerly worn part, where the Frame Connector used to connect is on the outside and fresh frame assembly is on the inside against the rubber washer.  The rubber washers are 1.25" dia.  I slice the top off with an exacto knife.


I hope this extends the life of the grills.  These two grills in the pic have new Frame Connectors.
