Black Betty is my most recent curb-side pick-up.

Crack a cold one and listen while you look.

Wow! Killer work.

What's with the nail?

The ground clamp for the welder works best on clean metal. If its not grounded well enough it'll arc & burn where the clamp connects til it establishes a connection, and that would damage whatever its touching.  I used the nail to attach the ground clamp to Black Betty so she didn't get damaged.

That is great.  I'm sure the people that tossed it out were certain it would never cook again.  Nice Job to both of you!

Nice work. Gota love resurecting old equipment. It's a passion, especialy with a grill that was that far gone because I have to admit that I probably wouldl have just gome out and bought a new one. So good on ya for rebuilding.Great job
