Just a great day for grilling and smoking

Piddling around the house today, fired up the faded black for some abt's this afternoon with a new mod that @weldboy shared a while back on the kettle cookers f/b page. Worked like a charm. Used a step drill bit and in 5 minutes I had a port for the wires. No more routing wires through vents on this daily cooker.
Later on for dinner, had some chuck eye steaks (first time) along with gold potatoes and some brussel sprouts with bacon that were done inside.
Beautiful weather, good beverages, kids playing and dying eggs, kettles warm all day. Couldn't beat it!

Happy Easter to you all. Enjoy your families and share those cooks!

What do you think of the chuck eyes?
They were good. I wouldn't say as good as a ribeye, but I'd get them again.

Same here. There not as good as a ribeye, but close. And half the price here.
