St. Louis Style
« on: April 09, 2017, 05:30:17 PM »
Was able to smoke some ribs recently on my WSM 22.5". I've been using this recipe for years (wife and I developed for competitions) and although they're delicious, I'm looking for a different flavor profile. Anyone willing to share a favorite recipe?!

Thanks in advance!!

Looks great. Nice and sticky. I really like the Killer Hogs rub and sauce. They are a wonderful combination with ribs.
What do you do for yours? If you don't mind sharing.

Homemade dry rub....then 321. Homemade glaze to finish it off. They're good but I'm bored with 'em!

I'm going to give the Killer Hogs a try!  Not only because you're the only one who answered either [emoji23]. Read about it and it sounds all good!

Thanks for the lead @Travis !

My ribs are Stubbs briquettes with apple or peach wood and Stubbs BBQ rub. Unwrapped and Stubbs sticky sweet the last 30 minutes.

I wish I could get my hands on more peach!  I love it...I mostly use apple or cherry...lots and lots of cherry!  Stubbs is the Grubbs!  Haven't used it in ribs though. I'm going to need to try it

I'm in Utah (Salt Lake). Every once in a while I run across some peach but so many people have cherry trees out here, it just works out!  Where are you?

Is it a local source, Travis?
FYI, if you like cherry, there's a guy at Soulard Market who sells bags of cherry.

Yes sir. An apple and peach orchard down the road from me. Fella trims his trees and sells the usable pieces. Got this truck load of peach for $50!
