I wasn't able to plan a photo recreation but did drag out some vintage kettles and accessories in celebration of George's Birthday tomorrow.

Outside today was a lovely 1° Celcius (34° F) and overcast but the weather held until after I had finished all the cooking. We love this stir fry and it gives me a good excuse to use the wok 8)

Rocking the trusty Happy Cooker internal ash pan:

Shout out to @MrHoss for getting me up to speed on quality knives! He recently sent me a way too generous care pack with a WÜSTHOF Ikon paring knife as a compliment to the knife below, and also a sample of a bunch of local brew's Thanks again Hoss!

LOTS of Garlic and Ginger!

Boneless Beef Short Ribs marinated in Bulgogi Korean BBQ Sauce...

CANDY!

Out comes the cooking grate and in goes the wok!

Garlic, Ginger and Green Onion:

Add in other veggies:

And there you have it! I could eat this every day of the week :D

George's Plate:

;D

.... a short few hours later and the snow's back. Made it just in time! :o

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Well done. You are a true showman and cook.

With some bitchin kettles and gear.

WNC

Beautiful grill, and set up too actually!
I really like those style tables, and covers, and how the grill in the towel matches the Imperial, nice touch!
Not to mention, you always do a great job documenting your cooks, looks great!

Very cool looking set up with the vintage covers and huge wok. Is that a vintage weber wok?

Edit:  and of course the kettle too

Awesome cook, way to represent.  That knife is amazing, @MrHoss is the gentlemen among gentleman.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Looks delicious!  Classy GB there.   :D

I miss seeing your cook-up posts, Matt.  After all, you had all of that wonderful training at Weber Canada HQ.   ;) ;)  Nicely done.  8)

Hey, you have Ontario craft beer in BC?  Railway City makes some interesting brews.
You can keep the snow ... All of ours is melting.  :D :D
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

Food, Kettles and Weber accessories look awesome 6. The last shot of the Imperial wins. Hope you enjoy the knife man.
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

Everything looks fantastic! Tell us more about that wok.
Looking for colored 18's and SJ's.

Thanks everyone! It was fun setting everything up and grilling on the retro lineup. I really need to use the side table more often. It gives you performer like space on any kettle and collapses right down for storage when not in use.

The wok is vintage Weber and just awesome to cook on. There is loads of space for large batch cooking and sits at the perfect height to stir and mix. It has 3 welded legs on the bottom with hangers to fit both 18.5" and 22.5" kettle sizes. They hold the wok about 1.5-2" above the lip of the bowl and creates a perfect airspace for heat to escape. Simple and effective design - classic Weber. The wok was originally available both with and without the tools... I planed to use them but left them inside on the counter and completely forgot.
